Hill Climb / Two Up 2007 - Result Sheet

The weather conditions for the Hill Climb were quite chilly and misty a small price to pay for a flat calm morning, maybe.

Congratulations to Andrew on ascending the hill in a commendably quick time. No doubt those following in his wake, enduring their own personal hell must have wished for just a little bit of tail wind assistance.

For those with relatively long memories will, no doubt, recognize the name of Steve Humphrey, he was that quick junior of a few years ago, well, quite a few, if truth be told. Seems as though he is finding a bit of form once again.

Once the serious business was over for the morning it was on or is it down  to the 2up. Conditions had not warmed up that much, the mist had, to all intense and purposes dispersed though.

Walkers Father and Son posted fastest time with Andrew and friend Mark just a few seconds adrift in second place. I think it would be fair to say the rest of the teams had some pretty powerful engines but unfortunately the couplings to their respective  tender’s were a little fragile.

Unfortunately both Robert Scourfield and John Bull suffered machine failures on the morning Robert with a broken saddle bolt and John two punctures.
